This plan will include damage limitation advice, ‘how-to’ advice to stop the ingress of water, a plan for drying equipment hire, any building works needed to dry out your property as quickly as possible and a priced offer to supply the building works and drying out equipment as described above.
If appropriate we will turn off the gas and water stopcocks with your agreement.
We will make your property safe from electrical dangers as a result of the flood if we can get access to your fuseboard/electrical cupboard and the board is labelled correctly.
We will provide a photographic and written report for your insurers or landlord within 5 days of the survey. This survey will be complete within one hour.

Up to 4 Hours Work.
Nine times out of ten we can find the leak source during our basic survey (£200).
In more complicated situations we will bring to bear our technological tools to find the source – thermographic cameras, non invasive electromagnetic probes, acoustic detectors, damp meters, and hygrometers.
The cost for this survey is £600 but if you have already had a basic survey £200 will be credited against the £600 reducing the additional technical detection to £400.

Ownership
We have skills but just as importantly we will take ownership of your problem. We won’t give up, we won’t leave you in the lurch. If building works are required to complete a survey we will carry out those works, with your agreement, ourselves. If we need to take out part of a ceiling or a partition we will do so.
We won’t ask you to find a contractor to enable our detection/repair works to take down some plasterboard and repair it again. We are fully equipped to carry out these works and we have the construction and decorative skills to leave with you an invisible mend once everything is dry.
